Analysis: The Film’s story is wafer-thin and quite routine but what makes it special is Virinchi varma’s narration and Nani. Virinchi Varma repeats his magic again. His treatment is clean and fresh. When it comes to artists performance, Nani is whole and soul of the film. Once again he entertains with his one-liners. His natural action and comedy timing makes us forget about the dull moments in the film. Anu Emmanuel looks gorgeous and gives good performance too. Priya Shri is just OK in her role. Vennela Kishore is at his usual best.

Anu Emmanuel – 3.75/5
Priya Shri – 3/5
Vennela Kishore – 3.75/5

First half of the film is clean and entertaining. Second half has some dull moments. And it is quite predictable. Climax is nice, director dealt it very smoothly without any complications. Music adds to the film’s mood. Couple of songs are nice. Gnanashekar’s Cinematography is very good. The Film has nice visuals. Editing in the second hald could’ve been crisp.
Nani and his one liners
Entertaining first half
Wafer thin story
Some dull moments in second half.
Overall, Majnu is a decent weekend entertainer. Though the film has some dull moments, You can easily watch it once for Nani and Virinchi Varma’s clean narration.
