NARUDA DONARUDA REVIEW
After taking a long gap, Actor Sumanth is back with a complete weird yet hilarious entertainer “Naruda Donruda”. The Film is remake of Bollywood movie ‘Vicky Donor’ . The Film narrates story of a sperm donor, which is completely new to public. Does the film impress the audience ? lets see
Story : Vicky ( Sumanth) is an unemployed and careless guy. Anjaneyulu (Tanikella Bharani) is a doctor in an infertility hospital. Anjaneyulu is in a search of a Sperm Donor, He comes across Vicky and strikes a deal with him. He forces Vicky to be a sperm donor. Initially Vicky rejects the offer. But he agrees and becomes a donor later. Vicky falls in love with Ashima (Pallavi Subhash). But he hesitates to reveal his profession. What happens when Ashima find about Vicky’s profession? how vicky manages to win his love? forms the rest of the story.
Analysis: As it was mentioned before, the plot of the film is quite weird and it will not connect well with South Audience. Its a daring step to remake a film which has a sperm donor concept. We should appreciate Sumanth for doing such a risky film. But the film fails to meet the standards of the original one. The Screenplay and narration is very lackluster. Especially, the film lacks the required emotional content. The film entertains partially, we feel bored for the most of the part. First half of the the film is ok and it has some hilarious scenes. But Second Half loses its track with many dull moments and lack of emotion. When we talk about the artists performance, Tanikella Bharani’s performance and his dialogues are the major plus point of the film. Sumanth has improved a lot and his comedy timing is ok. Pallavi Subhash has Ok looks but her performance is not at all impressive. Production values of the film are bad and this is another drawback of the film.
Comedy in the First Half
Lackluster screenplay and narration
